Our region is embarking on a significant investment in the engineering and renewables industry, meaning thousands of well-paid jobs in engineering and related sectors will be created in the area by 2030!
This growth will not only require the need to recruit engineers. It will also create a variety of specialist roles, including medical professionals, food supply experts, health and safety personnel, administrative staff, and finance and accounting professionals.
Our engineering pathway at Franklin has been developed with local employers, and offers industry insights through visits to local engineering employers such as HETA, RWE and CATCH, where you'll complete a renewables project and experience an industry taster day.
