Franklin Students Shine as Outstanding Results Open Doors to Incredible Futures
Franklin Sixth Form College is celebrating another fantastic set of results, with students once again achieving incredible grades across both A-Level and vocational courses.
Behind every result is determination and dedication, and we are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved. With a 99% pass rate across our Level 3 provision, and a 100% pass rate in 19 A Level courses, 32 Vocational courses and all T Level courses our students have shown their commitment to their studies and what can be achieved through hard work and belief in themselves.
This year’s results are particularly exciting, with students heading on to a range of incredible destinations. From leading universities, including Russell Group and Oxbridge institutions, to specialist performing arts schools and conservatoires, our students are securing places on courses that reflect their ambitions, interests and talents.
For many students, the next step will be progression to a higher or degree apprenticeship, with students securing highly sought-after opportunities with employers both locally and further afield.
A Level student, Tom Mitchell, celebrated an amazing set of results, achieving A*s in History, Law, and his EPQ, as well as an A in Geography. He Is now looking forward to studying Law at the University of Nottingham. Tom said:
“Franklin is definitely the best place to choose for your next steps. The facilities and teachers are amazing, and the independence and friendliness make it such a welcoming place.
“When I received my results this morning, I was just over the moon. It was everything I could have dreamed of, I’m so excited to be going to the University of Nottingham to study Law.
Also, celebrating fantastic results was Katrin Manova, who is heading to the University of Manchester to study Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology. Katrin was completely surprised at her results and was delighted with what she had achieved. She said:
“When I got to Franklin, I started getting a little bit nervous. I didn't know what to expect; I had no idea what I was going to get. When I opened my results, I literally screamed, because I was just so excited. I really wasn't expecting to get such good grades.
“I worked really hard, so I think I deserve it. My favourite thing about Franklin was my lessons because all my teachers were so amazing. I love how different everyone's teaching style are, and I think that helped me enjoy my subjects.

Our students’ results today have been truly phenomenal. We've welcomed over 860 students and their families into College today, and it has been wonderful to share in the excitement, pride and emotion of the day.
We’ve seen some incredible results and fantastic destinations, which is a real testament to our students’ hard work and dedication. Our vocational students have achieved 100% pass rate, while our Level 3 provision has achieved an outstanding 99% pass rate, which is even stronger than in previous years.
It’s been a very special day at Franklin. Seeing our students celebrate their results, hearing about their successes and watching them as they prepare for their next steps has made us all very proud. We wish them all the very best for the future.
